90210's Rebecca Sinclair Sets up Two New Series for The CW

As Deadline reported earlier tonight, Rebecca Sinclair, the former showrunner for 90210, has pitched, sold, and is now in the process of producing two new series, POP STARS and THE LOST GIRLS, for CBS TV Studios.

POP STARS plays to the supernatural bandwagon - following a young pop star, swaying from her family's religious foundation - until a fan claims her words have miraculously healed them.

Sinclair's second project, THE LOST GIRLS, is being developed by Ridley Scott's Scott Free, and is based upon the memoir written by Jennifer Baggett, Holly Corbett, and Amanda Pressner. Sinclair's take on the book throws in a mystery to make for good television, and follows four American women, embrioled in crises, and vow to leave it all behind, leaving America, and going abroad.

Previously, Sinclair has served as executive producer for GILMORE GIRLS and 90210. She is often credited with turning the latter around after its lackluster premiere season. She departed the series in 2011.
