According to TV Guide, ABC has picked up a pilot for the Americanized version of Britain's sleuthy series, SPY.
The series is a half-hour comedy that follows a good-natured father who ends up taking a job at the secret service to impress his son. The site reports that original creator Simeon Goulden will write and executive produce with Jimmy Mulville and Helen Williams.
As of now, the project has no potential cast attached.
