Last night, ABC aired director Spike Lee's tribute to Michael Jackson on the 25th Anniversary of his iconic album BAD. Unfortunately for the network, the special, which included interviews with Kanye West, Chris Brown and Mariah Carey among others, did not attract viewers attention on Thanksgiving Eve.
According to the Nielson ratings reports, the 90-minute documentary garnered only 4.6 million viewers and had a 1.2 rating in the all important adults 18-49 demographic. CBS came in second for the night, airing a combination of repeats and a rebroadcast of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
NBC's Sunday Night Football won the evening with its broadcast of The New England Patriots vs. New York Jets game which earned 16 million viewers and a 6.2 demo rating.
