ABC's Tony Danza, Vince Vaughn Comedy Lands Writers

ABC has brought on David Richardson of TWO AND A HALF MEN and Ian Gurvitz of FRASIER, to pen the script for the upcoming Tony Danza series, THE GUYS. Danza is also set to executive produce with Vince Vaughn.

The show follows around three longtime friends in the later years of their lives. Danza will play one of the men, with John Goodman being courted for one of the others.

THE GUYS will mark Danza and Gurvitz's second time working together. The pair previously worked on Danza's sitcom THE Tony Danza SHOW in 1997 on NBC.

ABC purchased THE GUYS in April from Danza and his manager Dan Farah.
