Looks like Ryan Seacrest's girlfriend, professional ballroom dancer Julianne Hough, may be rubbing off on the American Idol host. According to The Hollywood Reporter, A&E has just announced that they have put in a six-episode order for Seascrest's unscripted dance-themed docu-drama to be entitled MONTECITO.
The hour-long series will be set in Montecito, California. According to the report, the location is "home to some of the wealthiest women in the world, and the men who fulfill their dreams - in this case, it's not their husbands, but their ballroom dance instructors. For these working-class men, it's their potential ticket out of The Middle class; the question the series will ask is how far will they go to satisfy the demands of their clients."
The project, from Ryan Seacrest Productions, will give viewers an in depth, inside look into what goes on "beyond the dance floor." RSP CEO Adam Sher and Seacrest will serve as executive producers along with Generate's JorDan Levin, Robert B. Levin and Hilda Keenan Wynn and A&E's David McKillop, Elaine Frontain Bryant and Lily Neumeyer.
