This year's ALCS between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers is up 92 percent among viewers (vs. 3,184,000) and 90 percent in average rating (vs. 2.0) compared with last year's NLCS on TBS featuring the St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers.Yesterday afternoon's Yankees/Tigers telecast (ALCS Game 2 from 4-7:31 p.m. ET) averaged a 3.1 U.S. household rating and 5,040,000 total viewers.
