Actor Cliff Osmond Dies at Age 75

One of Hollywood's most durable character actors, Cliff Osmond, passed away on Dec. 22 at the age of 75 due to pancreatic cancer, Variety has reported.

He was surrounded by family members at the time of his death.

Osmond appeared in almost 150 filmed roles over a 40 year career, and was a respected and notable LA acting coach who has taught more than 20,000 actors during his two-decade teaching career.

His film credits include four Billy Wilder films--The Fortune Cookie, Kiss Me, Stupid, The Front Page and Irma la Douce. Osmond's many TV credits include "All in the Family," "The Twilight Zone," "The Untouchables" and "The Mod Squad."

In addition, his theatre credits include Waiting for Godot, A View from the Bridge, The Visit and Of Mice and Men.

Osmond's family has requested that any donations be made to a charities that provide funding or research towards a cure for pancreatic cancer.
