Anna Kendrick & Ana Gasteyer In RAPTUREPALOOZA Trailer

The adults-only red band trailer for the shocking and daring new comedy RAPTUREPALOOZA - yes, that is really the title - has just been released, featuring frequent stage and screen stars Anna Kendrick and Ana Gasteyer, as well as John Francis Daley, Ken Jeong, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and more.

RAPTUREPALOOZA is a comedy that follows two teenagers (Kendrick and Daley) in the days following the apocalypse as they journey to avenge the Anti-Christ himself, played in the film by Robinson.

In my 2011 InDepth InterView with Ana Gasteyer she had this to say about her experience working on RAPTUREPALOOZA: AG: "I have this movie RAPTUREPALOOZA coming out - it's really wild. It takes place after The Rapture and Craig Robinson plays the Beast. [Big Laugh.] We just shot that in Vancouver." You can read the rest of the interview here.

Kendrick has made quite a mark in a number of films in recent years, particularly her work in UP IN THE AIR and last year's PITCH PERFECT, following an early theatre career, having been nominated for a Tony Award for HIGH SOCIETY as a pre-teen. Also, it was announced last month that she would be taking on the title role in the forthcoming feature film adaptation of Jason Robert Brown's THE LAST FIVE YEARS, co-starring Jeremy Jordan.

Ana Gasteyer has appeared on Broadway in THE THREEPENNY OPERA and THE ROYAL FAMILY, as well as made a memorable mark in WICKED in Chicago and in her own one-woman shows, concerts and Saturday Night Live work, to say nothing of her numerous other film, TV and stage appearances.
