Lena Dunham's GIRLS has garnered praise, criticism, and above all, ratings for HBO. With its second season set to air on Jan. 13, executive producer Judd Apatow is already hinting at a potential third season for the networks newest darling.
Critically acclaimed director, Apatow, who also serves as executive produer for GIRLS, hinted towards a renewal of the series in an interview Monday. "We're about to shoot the third season of Girls. Season 2 starts in January," he told Hot Button.
HBO opted out of a comment, telling The Huffington Post: "We're looking forward to the launch of Season 2 and hope to have good news shortly thereafter."
