BOY MEETS WORLD Sequel in the Works at Disney Channel

TVline reports that  Disney Channel is currently in the "Early Stages of developing" of a BOY MEETS WORLD sequel. The project will be titled 'Girl Meets World,' and will center on the daughter of the original series character Cory Matthews.

According to the report, it is possible that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will appear on the show, reprising their roles of Cory and Topanga. The duo were married at the very end of the series seven-year run.

Ben Savage’s most recent TV appearances include Bones, Chuck and Without a Trace. Fishel has been seen on National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze as well as the host of Style Network’s The Dish.

BOY MEETS WORLD ran on the ABC network from 1993 -2000.
