Bryan Cranston Inks First-Look Deal with Sony Pictures TV

Although Walter White of AMC's Breaking Bad will soon be gone from the airwaves, viewers are sure to see much more of series star Bryan Cranston. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has just signed a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television.

Under the agreement, the Emmy winner will develop and produce new series for the studio and potentially star in one of them to boot! The actor will soon be seen in the final eight episodes of 'Breaking Bad', which completes a 16-episode order from the cable network.

Cranston first appeared on TV in the recurring role of dentist Tim Whatley in the sitcom Seinfeld. He is best known for his roles as Hal in the FOX sitcom Malcolm in The Middle and Walter White in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad.

The actor won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series three consecutive times for Breaking Bad and picked up a SAG Award at last week's event.

His film credits include supporting roles in the films Argo, Drive, Saving Private Ryan and Little Miss Sunshine.
