CARLY ROSE WATCH: Sonenclar Takes No. 1 Spot on X FACTOR!

Broadway's Carly Rose Sonenclar is moving on to the Top 8 of this year's X FACTOR on FOX. On Thanksgiving eve, the talented teen received the news that she would be joining Diamond White, Vino Alan, Fifth Harmony, Tate Stevens, Paige Thomas and  Emblem3 for next week's round of competition. 

But the good news didn't stop there. This week's rankings revealed that Sonenclar had bumped off Tate Stevens to reach the number one spot! Upon hearing the news she shouted, "Oh my God! Thank you to everyone who voted for me!"

This week's rankings for the Top 8 were as follows:

8. CeCe Frey
7. Fifth Harmony
6. Paige Thomas
5. Diamond White
4. Emblem3
3. Vino Alan
2. Tate Stevens
1. Carly Rose Sonenclar

Coming up on next week's show, the Top 8 perform and the new music video for Britney Spears and will.i.am's single, "Scream and Shout," will premiere. The fun begins Wednesday, November 28 at 8/7c on FOX. 

Sonenclar has appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables and Wonderland, and has also taken the stage in NYMF's The Night of the Hunter (2006) and the national tour of Little House on the Prairie the Musical.
