CBS EVENING NEWS Posts Ratings Increases In A25-54

Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is the only network evening news broadcast to post ratings increases in adults 25-54 (1.6/06 from 1.5/05, +7%) compared to last season. Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is also up in households (4.5/08 from 4.2/08, +7%) and viewers (6.65m from 6.25m, +6%) compared to last season.

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY also posted year-to-year ratings gains in both households (4.8/09 from 4.7/08, +2%) and viewers (7.14m from 6.99m, +2%) for the week ending Jan. 11, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. The CBS broadcast also maintained its adults 25-54 rating (1.7/06) compared to last year.
