CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH Charles Osgood was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 14, 2012. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.6/10 with 4.98m viewers and a 1.4/07 in adults 25-54.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best households and adults 25-54 deliveries since June 10, 2012. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in households (from 3.5/10), +2% in viewers (from 4.86m) and even in adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in households (3.5/10 from 3.4/10) and +2% in viewers (4.98m from 4.88m) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured CBS News National Security Correspondent David Martin’s report on the 50-year anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis; Lee Cowan’s profile of Sharon Osbourne; and Martha Teichner’s wide-ranging interview with prolific author Patricia Cornwell.
