Cheyenne Jackson is having another go at television.
Deadline reports that the Broadway vet has been tapped to star alongside Jeffrey Tambor (ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT) in Amazon's upcoming pilot THE ONION PRESENTS: THE NEWS.
The scripted comedy project comes from Will Graham and Dan Mirk of the satirical news publication THE ONION, and follows the behind-the-scenes action of cut-throat journalists vying for the next big headline.
The site reports that Jackson will take on the role of Cameron, "a rising younger anchor who threatens the rein of veteran anchor David Everett (Tambor)."
