Chris Ender, Dana McClintock Promoted to EVP Communications, CBS

Dana McClintock and Chris Ender have been promoted to Executive Vice Presidents of Communications for CBS Corporation. The announcement was made by Gil Schwartz, Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and Chief Communications Officer of the Company, to whom both report.

In these new positions, both executives will continue working with Schwartz to position CBS Corporation at the forefront of content, technology and the media business, charting the Company's overall media relations and communications strategy for its many external and internal constituencies.

"Chris and Dana are two of the brightest, most forward-thinking executives in the business," said Schwartz. "Each is an incredibly gifted strategist and manager who has grown over the years to become the best that this business - any business, in fact - has to offer. Together, working closely with the senior management of the Company across its many divisions, they have successfully helped to transform the perception of CBS from that of a simple broadcasting company into a leading content creator on the world stage. I am very proud to promote them both to these well-deserved positions, and look forward to working with them for many years to come."

McClintock and Ender will continue to work closely with all CBS Corporation businesses to help guide the overall messaging of the Company both externally and to its many employees around the world. McClintock will continue to be based in New York, concentrating on communications issues for CBS Corporation and the CBS Television Network, as well as the Company's Interactive operations, and its local businesses in radio, television and outdoor. Ender will continue to be based in Los Angeles, working with CBS Corporation's content creation and distribution divisions on communications strategies in broadcast television, television production, syndication, international television, pay cable, Internet and feature films.

McClintock has been instrumental in positioning CBS Corporation as a content company poised to thrive in the digital future. In addition, working closely with Schwartz and Ender, he helped to shape the communications infrastructure of CBS Corporation company-wide after it became a standalone entity in 2006.

McClintock joined the Company in 1993 to help launch CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN. He then served as Director, Olympic Communications, CBS Sports, for the Network's coverage of the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, Japan. After the Olympics, he returned to New York to become Director of Communications for the Company. He was named Vice President in 1999 and Senior Vice President of Communications in 2002. In between working on LETTERMAN and the Nagano Olympics, McClintock worked in communications at ABC News from 1996 until 1997. He is a graduate of Colby College. He and his wife, Jenna, live in Chatham, N.J., with their two sons.

Since joining the Company, Ender has built CBS's West Coast communications operation, which has shaped the Company's content-driven communications strategy during its long climb to the #1 position in the business. In that ever-expanding role, he has overseen publicity launches for the series that have built CBS into America's Most Watched Network, including all three CSIs, NCIS, EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND, TWO AND A HALF MEN, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, THE AMAZING RACE, The Big Bang Theory and the acclaimed Summer 2000 rollout of SURVIVOR. He also helped lead CBS's early adoption into social media, instituting public relations platforms and promotional tie-ins with sites such as Twitter and Instagram.

Ender has served as Senior Vice President, Communications at CBS since 1998. He joined CBS in March 1996 as Vice President, Media Relations, CBS Entertainment. Prior to that, he headed media relations for the syndication division of Sony Television Entertainment. Previously, he was a senior account executive at Bender, Goldman & Helper Public Relations.

Ender is a former chairman of the industry's Television Publicity Executive Committee (TPEC) and currently serves on the board of advisors for the Santa Clarita chapter of the national non-profit Family Promise. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.S., Journalism, 1986). Ender resides in Valencia, Calif., with his wife Laurie and their three sons.
