THE Dr. Oz SHOW took home the trophy for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Saturday evening at the 2012 Daytime Emmy® Awards. This is the second consecutive win for the "The Dr. Oz Show" production team led by executive producer, Mindy Borman, and co-executive producer, Amy Chiaro.

Dr. Oz is vice-chair of the Department of Surgery and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University. His research interests include heart replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, complementary medicine and health care policy. He has authored over 400 original publications, book chapters, and medical books and has received several patents.
