'Downton's Michelle Dockery to Guest Voice on FAMILY GUY

TVGuide reports that Michelle Dockery, best known for her role on ITV's popular historic drama 'Downton Abbey' will lend her voice to an upcoming episode of FOX's animated comedy FAMILY GUY.

According to the report, Dockery's voice will be heard in a 'cutaway gag' as the Griffin family watches an "aristocrat in a British period drama." The episode is not set to air until next season of the show.

Dockery joins a growing list of recent guest stars on the show including Jessica Biel, Drew Barrymore, Sofia Vergara, Ryan Reynolds and Johnny Depp.

The Golden Globe- and Emmy-nominatEd English actress is best known for her role as Lady Mary Crawley in the ITV drama series Downton Abbey. For her role in a play Burnt by the Sun she earned anLaurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Some of her other notable stage credits are Pygmalion, The Pillars of Society and Hamlet as Ophelia.
