Deadline reports that the hit British television series THE SAINT may be making its way back to television. 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,'s Eliza Dushku and 'Hawthorne's Adam Rayner are reportedly set to star in a new pilot which will be produced by original 'Saints' star Roger Moore.The original series aired from 1962 to 1969 and is based on the novels of Leslie Charteris and the character of Simon Templar, first introduced in 1928's "Meet the Tiger." Templar, , will be played by Rayner will portray 'Templar' described as "a mysterious thief-turned-vigilante-hero" and Dushku will take on the role of his love interest Patricia Holm.Simon West (The Mechanic, The Expendables 2) is attached to direct the pilot. Jesse Alexander will pen the screenplay.
