Dylan McDermott Set to Return as Guest Star on AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM

Although he wont be reprising his original role, AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 1 vet, Dylan McDermott, is set to return to the series as a guest star in the upcoming ASYLUM season. AMERICAN HORROR STORY returns tonight at 10:00 PM on FX.

"So thrilled to announce Dylan McDermott is returning to American Horror Story!" Series creator Ryan Murphy announced today via Twitter.

McDermott will join season one costars Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Lily Rabe, who are signed on as season regulars for AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM.

As previously announced AMERICAN HORROR STORY will venture into a Boston asylum this season - leaving behind the characters, mysteries, and plotlines of season 1.
