E! shines the spotlight on the first event of the 2012 award season when the network broadcasts LIVE from the 69th AnnuAl Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 15th. "Countdown to the Red Carpet" kicks off the day at 5:00pm ET / 2:00pm PT, featuring "Fashion Police" experts Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos along with E!'s Ross Mathews and Kristina Guerrero. The hosts will preview who to expect on the red carpet and predict what they may be wearing. Also one of young Hollywood's hottest up-and-coming celebrities, "Victorious" star Ariana Grande, will surprise one of her loyal fans with a fabulous ambush makeover reminiscent of old Hollywood and inspired by some of the year's biggest films. And never one to miss out on a good party, comedy icon Joan Rivers makes a special appearance on the show.
At 6:00pm ET / 3:00pm PT, immediately following the "Countdown" show, E!'s "Live from the Red Carpet" anchor and executive producer Ryan Seacrest and host Giuliana Rancic will talk with the biggest names in film and television as they parade down the Golden Globe catwalk.
