EMPIRE GIRLS Among Style Network's June Programming Highlights

Style network has announced its June 2012 programming highlights including series "EMPIRE GIRLS: Julissa & Adrienne", debuting Sunday, June 3 at 9pm ET/PT and returning hits "Tia & Tamera" and new series "Chicagolicious", premiering Monday, June 11 beginning at 8pm ET/PT and "Giuliana & Bill" Season Finale Airs Tuesday, June 5 at 8pm ET/PT.

NEW & RETURNING SERIES PREMIERES

"Empire Girls: Julissa & Adrienne" -- Sunday, June 3 at 9pm ET/PT
Style gets an intimate look into the glamorous lives of Julissa Bermudez ("106 & Park") and Adrienne Bailon ("The Cheetah Girls") -- two of America's sexiest up-and-coming Latina actresses -- in this new docu-series. Viewers will follow this savvy young duo as they hit the streets of New York to build their entertainment careers and attempt to find true love, all while maintaining their fabulous lifestyle and enviable social calendar. In the series premiere, Julissa struggles to lose her thick Dominican accent to appeal to more mainstream America. Meanwhile, Adrienne decides to take control of her life by removing all distractions of her ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian.

"Tia & Tamera" -- Monday, June 11 at 8pm ET/PT
The hit docu-series returns to follow the identical twin sisters as they face the realities of motherhood and matrimony, and Tia and Tamera lean heavily on each other to lighten the difficult moments with comedic insight and advice and to share their worries and fears. In the second season premiere, Tia adjusts to life back in Los Angeles as a full-time mother while she struggles to get out of the self-imposed bubble of isolation she has found herself in since birthing Cree. After Tamera throws her a "welcome home" party, Tia realizes how important it is to get out and socialize with friends so she sets out to find a Mommy & Me class for her and Cree. Tamera is splitting her time between Napa and Los Angeles with her husband and takes offense when Tia expresses doubt that Tamera will be committed to her career. Her feelings are hurt even more when a new business idea with her sister is put on the backburner because Tia books a movie in Utah – and doesn't tell Tamera.

"Chicagolicious" -- Monday, June 11 at 9pm ET/PT
From the creator and executive producers of Style's hit series "Jerseylicious," "Chicagolicious" takes viewers to the Windy City to follow AJ Johnson who owns AJ's salon in Chicago, and whose clientele includes a who's who of actors and models, including Angela Bassett and Iman. AJ oversees a team of talented yet fiery hair and makeup artists who love to create drama, from the looks they give their clients to the manner in which they deal with each other. In the series premiere, AJ is ready to raise his profile and his salon's profile in the Chicago society scene. AJ's publicist, Julie, has just the event for AJ that will help get him and his staff noticed, especially by one of Chicago's society bloggers. For the gala, AJ's of Chicago will provide the hair and make-up for all the models who will surround the ballroom as living statues. However, the rivalry between Valincia and Katrell threatens to damage AJ's dreams of grandeur. Meanwhile, Niki is concerned that Howard's overly friendly attention to the clients is making some uncomfortable so she tries to tone down his flirting.

After almost missing Gayle's product launch party, Tracy and Olivia join forces to come up with an idea to impress upon Gayle that they are devoted to Gatsby-2-Go. Gayle reluctantly gives in to adding image consulting to the business, but she also wants Miguel and Krystle to be a larger part of the business. Meanwhile, Alexa is finally giving up the control and allowing Danny to plan the proposal. With the help of Jon and Briella, Danny surprises Alexa with an "Imagine" themed proposal in Central Park near Strawberry Fields – which is beyond anything Alexa could have imagined for this beautiful moment.

Anthony's new hire, Fashion, is a self-proclaimed "weave-ologist." Anthony decides to host a Weave Academy at the salon, but Tracy thinks she knows it all and clashes with Fashion over technique. Now that Gatsby-2-Go has added the image service, Christy wants to be a part of it, showing how creative she can be. Unfortunately, Christy's ideas are not in line with Olivia's vision or the client's. It's official – Alexa and Danny are engaged! Mrs. Giove wants to throw them an engagement party as does Jon so the two must find a way to combine their ideas to plan an amazing event.
