Actress and singer Emmy Rossum tells CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY she's a "big multi-tasker" and discusses her new movie, her character on Showtime's drama series SHAMELESS and her new album of classics in an interview to be broadcast today, Feb. 16 on the CBS Television Network (check local listings). Rossum will also perform "Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out" in Studio 57. "It's a passion project for me," Rossum tells CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY co-hosts Anthony Mason and Rebecca Jarvis on her album of popular standards, Sentimental Journey. "It makes me feel a sense of nostalgia, when songs were simpler and it was just, you know, a vocalist and a song and a melody." Asked about finding the time to balance her recording career with her new movie "Beautiful Creatures" and television series, Rossum says, "I'm a big multi-tasker-I like vocalizing while I'm driving the car on the way to work." The 26-year-old's workload is not unlike the burdens faced by her character Fiona Gallagher on SHAMELESS. "I definitely don't envy her-I wouldn't want to have all of her responsibilities, but I guess I've taken on a lot myself," Rossum says.Michael Rosen is the Executive Producer of CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY.
