FRIENDS' Producer Gets Pilot Order for TRIBES by ABC

ABC has given Greg Malins, the producer behind FRIENDS and WILL AND GRACE, the go-ahead for his upcoming comedy pilot entitled TRIBES, based off of the Israeli series, YOUR FAMILY OR MINE.

At the show's center are Oliver and Kelli, who learn the old saying is true: when you marry someone, you marry their family. Each episode in the series will follow a different side of the family.

Malins will serve as writer and executive producer. Avi Nir, Ran Telem, Rubi Duanias, and Yaniv Polishuk of the Israeli title are also set to executive produce. 

Malins is also known for his work on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and 2 BROKE GIRLS.
