Food Network leaps into fall with three news series and eight season premieres of primetime and daytime favorites. Sunny Anderson hits the road in her new series Home Made in America with Sunny Anderson premieringSaturday, October 6th at 9:30am as she searches for the nation's best home cooks. Sandra Lee also ventures out of her home kitchen to discover the secrets behind famed restaurant dishes and then remakes them with her unique twist in Sandra's Restaurant Remakes premiering Sunday, October 14th at 10am. In primetime, Ben Vaughn joins the Food Network lineup as he cleans up restaurants to ensure they pass inspection in new series Health Inspectors premiering Friday, October 26th at 10:30pm. Food Network also boasts new primetimes seasons of Halloween Wars, Cupcake Wars, Sweet Genius and Mystery Diners, while also amping up the daytime roster with new seasons of The Best Thing I Ever Made, Guy's Big Bite, Giada at Home and Trisha's Southern Kitchen.

Home Made in America with Sunny Anderson - Premiering Saturday, October 6th at 9:30am

Sunny Anderson hits the road to track down the unsung heroes of the American culinary world - home cooks. Sunny travels across the country to discover the inspirational stories of the people behind the recipes while learning a few tips and tricks of her own in a new daytime series. Whether Sunny tastes Grandma Williams' authentic squash pie which is the talk of Fayetteville, N.C. or Mary's granola recipe which is in such high demand that she now sells it in grocery stores, these homemade recipes tell a story and each starts in the home kitchen.

Sandra's Restaurant Remakes - Premiering Sunday, October 14th at 10am

Sandra Lee heads out of the kitchen to visit famous restaurants and discover their most celebrated and delicious dishes in her new series Sandra's Restaurant Remakes. She then heads back home to recreate restaurant quality dishes with tricks and shortcuts all her own. She makes the astonishing attainable, the exotic easy, and the remarkable, relatable.

Health Inspectors - Premiering Friday, October 26th at 10:30pm

A visit from a restaurant health inspector can potentially shut down a food business instantly and permanently if they aren't up to code, but in Health Inspectors, Ben Vaughn is here to make sure that doesn't happen. He makes his living cleaning up restaurants that have all sorts of violations, holding them accountable for the messes they've made and ensuring they pass inspection. In each episode, Ben outlines what restaurants must do to maintain proper kitchen safety and cleanliness before the health inspectors come in for review. Ben's helping hand can only go so far, and at the end of the day, the restaurant must pass the health inspection in order to stay in business.

Premiering Sunday, October 21st at 9pm -"Science Gone Wrong"
Three remaining teams made up of a pumpkin carving expert, cake artist, and candy craftsman must capture the terrifying moment when a mad scientist's creation goes horribly wrong, with one team being eliminated at the end. Special guest judge: Chaske Spencer
Premiering Sunday, October 28th at 9pm - "Zombie Wedding"

In the epic finale, two teams made up of a pumpkin carving expert, cake artist, and candy craftsman must evoke the scene of a romantic yet horrific zombie wedding. At stake is the Halloween Wars champion and a $50,000 grand prize. Special guest judge: Sara Canning

Cupcake Wars - Premiering Sunday, October 7th at 8pm

Premiering Sunday, October 7th at 8pm - "Big Time Rush" - SEASON PREMIERE!
It's going to be big time competition as four bakers fight for the chance to serve their cupcakes backstage to at an exclusive party for the boys of Big Time Rush.

Premiering Sunday October 14th at 8pm - "Mary Poppins"
Four bakers will need more than a "Spoon Full of Sugar" if they want to win the opportunity to serve their cupcakes at a cast and crew party for the Los Angeles premiere of the musical, "Mary Poppins".

Premiering Sunday October 21st at 8pm - "Cody Simpson"
Mother knows best as four mother-daughter teams compete for the chance to go backstage with pop idol Cody Simpson and serve their cupcakes at an exclusive fan event.

Premiering Sunday October 28th at 8pm - "Magical Cupcakes"
Bakers will be trading in their whisks for wands as they duke it out to win the opportunity to have their cupcakes center stage at an exclusive event at the world famous Magic Castle in Los Angeles.

Sweet Genius - Premiering Thursday, October 18th at 10pm

Premiering Thursday, October 18th at 10pm -"Cuckoo Genius" - SEASON PREMIERE!
In the first test of genius, canine cuteness inspires the chefs to create a chocolate dessert from an iconic breakfast food and bland bread. In the second test, the chefs get an entertaining inspiration, peanuts and a sweet drink, but one chef's mishap with a critical element on the plate causes disappointment. With two chefs left to compete for the grand prize, a charming, chiming object gets the chefs' imaginations ticking, but who will make the better cake from a supermarket treat and an aromatic grass?

Premiering Thursday, October 25th at 10pm - "Halloween Genius"
In celebration of Halloween, the Sweet Genius is stirring up some devilish trouble. Chef Ron's first inspiration is bound to get the chefs' blood pumping, as they race to put together chocolate desserts from an Asian drink and dried fungi. Then, in the second round, a haunting apparition inspires the chefs to use onions and a strongly flavored novelty candy. With $10,000 at stake, a creepy critter crawls on the scene to scare the chefs into action.

Mystery Diners - Premiering Friday, October 19th at 10pm
When a restaurant owner suspects employees of not doing their jobs - whether it be stealing, lying, mistreating customers or generally doing lousy work - they call in the Mystery Diners. These Mystery Diners are undercover operatives who go into restaurants, bars and food service establishments with hidden cameras and perform surveillance to find out what's really going on when the boss isn't around.

Jeff Mauro eats his way through Boston discovering neighborhood gems that offer delicious food for a bargain. He pit stops at The Neighborhood for a traditional breakfast with eggs, homefries and unlimited coffee before heading to Quincy Market's Fisherman's Net for tasty clam chowder. For dinner, Jeff munches on homemade rice balls at Sal's Ristorante & Pizzeria, and no trip to Boston is complete without a cannoli at Caffe Paradiso.

Jeff Mauro starts his New York food adventure at The Bagel Store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for a bagel breakfast sandwich and then chows down on signature slices from Artichoke Basille's Pizza for lunch. Jeff satisfies his afternoon sweet tooth with a Cafe au Lait Glazed Donut from Dough before chowing down on a fried chicken dinner at Bobwhite Lunch and Supper Counter.

Jeff Mauro eats his way through the City of Brotherly Love starting with breakfast at Cedar Park Café. He stops in for lunch at Gooey Louies before sampling an apple dumpling at Dutch Eating Place in Reading Terminal Market. He caps off his eating tour with a scrumptious dinner at Pete's Famous Pizza and Restaurant.

Chopped

Premiering Tuesday, October 2nd at 10pm - "No Kidding"
Four talented teenagers bravely attempt the Chopped kitchen. The all-star young cooks amaze the judges with their appetizer dish featuring fish filets and a sugary frozen treat. For the entrée round, it's cotton candy and French-fried onions before the two remaining teens find movie-theater popcorn in the dessert basket.

Premiering Tuesday, October 9th at 10pm - "Charge"
With pluck aplenty, four chefs charge into the competition, but spaghetti in a can causes trouble in the first round. In the entree course, everybody raids the pantry for potatoes to complement the tile fish from the basket, and the chefs must create a dessert with cocktail franks in the final round.

Premiering Tuesday, October 16th at 10pm - "A Very Piggy Halloween"
Getting piggy with it for Halloween, the chefs have to cook with snouts in the first round. Then, the competitors find a dangerously hot ingredient and popping candy in the main course basket before pulling out all the stops to make lollipops and cereal bars into devilishly delicious desserts.

Premiering Tuesday, October 23rd at 10pm - "Pigging Out"
The chefs learn that they will be cooking with unusual cuts of meat, embracing the philosophy that almost every part of an animal can be considered food. The first surprise comes in the appetizer basket - a whole pig's head. The chefs open the entrée basket to find how the nose-to-tail theme will play out, and the task looks three-times more difficult. When the competitors open the last baskets, their faces say it all: it's going to be a very tough round.

Iron Chef America

Premiering Sunday, October 7th at 10pm - "Zakarian vs. Frauneder"
Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian faces off against challenger Eduard Frauneder, executive chef at Edi & The Wolf in New York. Judges are Jeffrey Steingarten, Cady Huffman, and John Curtas.
Premiering Sunday, October 14th at 10pm - "Garces vs. Weitzman"
Iron Chef Jose Garces faces off against challenger Rebecca Weitzman. Chef Weitzman is the executive chef at Thistle Hill Tavern in Brooklyn, N.Y. The judges are Karine Bakhoum, Art Smith, and Julie White.

Restaurant: Impossible

Premiering Wednesday, October 3rd at 9pm - "Whistle Stop"
Chef Robert Irvine's latest mission takes him to Hot Springs, Ark., to meet widow, Linda Todd, the owner of The Whistle Stop Restaurant. Linda took over the business five years ago, depleting her entire savings and her children's inheritance money. Despite being the manager, Linda has no idea how to run the restaurant - it's dingy, dirty, rundown, and visibly falling apart. With $10,000, can Robert fix the Whistle Stop in two days, or will this be the restaurant that derails him?

Premiering Wednesday, October 10th at 9pm - "Valley Inn"
Chef Robert Irvine is in Palos Hills, Ill., to help save the Valley Inn Restaurant. Faye and Frank Ristucci opened the Valley Inn 40 years ago. A very profitable restaurant once upon a time, the Valley Inn fell on hard times hit when Frank passed away. His sons, Dennis and Frank Jr., stepped up to the plate, but everyone seems downtrodden and it's affecting the restaurant. Robert has two days to help Dennis regain his passion and $10,000 to bring this restaurant back to its glory days.

Premiering Wednesday, October 17th at 9pm - "Oleander"

Chef Robert Irvine heads to Olean, N.Y., to meet Kelli Truman and her daughter, Abby, the proud owners of the Oleander Bar and Grill. The mother-daughter team only opened the restaurant six months ago, but they're already facing financial ruin. The stakes are higher, because Abby's seven months pregnant, and she can't afford to lose the restaurant. The tension between the two escalates as they argue over coupons and employees right in front of customers. Robert has two days and $10,000 to turn the lackluster restaurant around, or otherwise Oleander is on the fast lane to failure.

Restaurant Stakeout

Premiering Wednesday, October 10th at 10pm - "Act Like the Boss"
Willie Degel comes to the aid of Dawn, owner of the Liberty Bar and Grill in Hoboken, N.J. After 14 years in business, Dawn's restaurant is struggling, and she's called Willie for answers. He soon discovers that Dawn's hands-off management style has created a leadership vacuum and some serious personnel issues that threaten to bring the business to its knees.
Premiering Wednesday, October 17th at 10pm -"That Money's Out the Door"
Willie Degel steps in to help Anna Maria, chef and owner of Anna Maria's Italian Restaurant in Larchmont, N.Y. While her food gets raves, her restaurant has developed a reputation for nickel-and-diming the customer and it's driving business out the door. If Willie can't solve the service problems, Anna Maria's dream of running her own restaurant is destined to become a nightmare.

Premiering Wednesday, October 24th at 10pm-"This Place is a Circus"
Willie Degel is called in to help a desperate owner, Antony, save his Italian restaurant, Serata, in Oyster Bay, N.Y. Antony's rowdy employees have created an atmosphere that's more sideshow than serene, and business is suffering. The situation is complicated by the fact that Serata's main investor, Vinny, is also Antony's best friend. The two lifelong friends need Willie to get their restaurant back on track before their business and relationship come to an unhappy ending.
