As first reported on Deadline.com, GLEE's Romy Rosemont has been cast in Roseanne Barr's upcoming NBC comedy DOWNWARDLY MOBILE along with actress Mary Birdsong. The actors will join Barr and previously announced cast member John Goodman on the project.

Co-created by Barr, DOWNWARDLY MOBILE tells the story of Rose Davis (Barr), the proprietor of a mobile home park and surrogate mother to all of the unique people who live there in a challenging economy. Goodman will play Buzz, a jack of all trades who regularly helps out Rose.

Birdsong will portray Kathie Lee, described as the "quintessential “trailer trash” who runs the pizza/beer joint in the trailer park." Rosemont's character, Sheila, is described as "a resident of the mobile park who works as a nurse on the “death floor” at a nursing home."

Rosemont has a recurring role on the Fox musical series GLEE, playing the mother of Finn.
