GLEE's Nolan Gerard Funk Joins Cast of MTV's AWKWARD

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Broadway's Nolan Gerard Funk who recently starred as the new head Warbler on GLEE, has signed on for MTV's AWKWARD. The Canadian actor and singer will play Collin James- 'a confident new prep school transfer to Palos Hills.'

Funk made his Broadway debut in the 2009 revival of 'Bye Bye Birdie' in the role of Conrad Birdie. The actor appeared in Nickelodeon's musical TV movie Spectacular! and has had guest roles on Warehouse 13 and Aliens in America. He has appeared on film in Another Dirty Movie, The Canyons and 'House at the End of the Street.'
