GLEE won big at the GLAAD Media Awards this weekend, taking home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series. During the ceremony, series creator Ryan Murphy spoke of Kurt's future - not only would Kurt be getting a boyfriend soon, but the pair will also be dubbed McKinley High Schools prom king and king.
GLEE's Chris Colfer spoke to MTV saying "Yes, in season two he will be getting a boyfriend. The first time I had heard anything about [the prom kings] was at the awards, [Ryan] might have been sarcastic. But, I do know they're going to be a powerful, popular couple." Chris also added that Kurt's future beau will be a new character we've not yet met.
Television's most award-winning new series, GLEE was recently honored with a Peabody Award; a Golden Globe for Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical; a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series; and a People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Comedy. GLEE follows an optimistic teacher who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - inspires McKinley High's Glee Club to conquer the world one singing competition at a time.
