E! News kicks off the New Year with a brand new special that looks at how Hollywood's hottest stars give back to those in need. "HOW HOLLYWOOD HELPS" explores the personal connections celebrities have to their favorite causes and how far these stars go to make a positive difference. Hosted by E! News' Giuliana Rancic, this 30-minute special premieres Wednesday, January 2nd at 8:00 pm ET/PT only on E!"How Hollywood Helps" features sit-down interviews with some of entertainment's biggest celebrities, including E!'s own Ryan Seacrest (Seacrest Studios), Andrew Garfield (World Wide Orphans), Ne-Yo (The Compound Foundation & The Giving Tour), Jessica Biel (Make a Difference Network). Plus, Miley Cyrus takes viewers to Haiti where recovery efforts are still greatly in need of resources, and Jason Russell and Sophia Bush talk about the revived Kony 2012 movement. Giuliana also goes inside the African relief organization started by the star-studded cast of Ocean's 11 (Not on My Watch).While these stars support a wide range of pro-social initiatives, they all share the same message - the importance of charity and helping others in need.
