Gotye, Band of Horses to Perform on LIVE ON LETTERMAN Webcasts

This September, CBS Interactive's award-winning concert webcast series, LIVE ON LETTERMAN, presented by AT&T, will showcase GRAMMY®-nominated indie rockers Band of Horses and electro-pop sensation Gotye in live webcasts from the world-famous Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. The webcasts will be streamed live on CBS.com and VEVO, with Band of Horses performing live Monday, Sept. 17 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT) and Goyte performing Monday, Sept. 24 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT).

Band of Horses will perform songs from throughout their career, including new music from their forthcoming album, Mirage Rock, which will be released on Sept. 18, the day after their LIVE ON LETTERMAN performance. Gotye will play songs from his recent album, Making Mirrors, which includes the hits "Somebody That I Used to Know" and "Eyes Wide Open."

The LIVE ON LETTERMAN franchise, which has surpassed 120 million views to date on CBS.com and VEVO, has hosted some of the most established bands and musicians across the globe, staged in an intimate and dynamic setting for worldwide followers to enjoy.

Band of Horses is singer/guitarist Ben Bridwell, drummer Creighton Barrett, multi-instrumentalist Ryan Monroe, bassist Bill Reynolds and guitarist Tyler Ramsey. The Charleston, S.C., outfit emerged with their first full-length album, Everything All The Time, featuring the epic "The Funeral," which appeared in numerous television shows and commercials. Their 2007 sophomore effort, Cease to Begin, included the band's first charting single, "Is There A Ghost," and the stunning "No One's Gonna Love You," while 2010's Infinite Arms reached #7 on the Billboard 200, received a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Alternative Album and featured "Laredo," one of Rolling Stone's "50 Best Songs of 2010." The group's latest single, "Knock Knock," precedes their fourth album, Mirage Rock, which will be available in stores on Sept. 18. Band of Horses has spent the summer touring as special guests of My Morning Jacket, performing at numerous festivals and preparing for a worldwide tour in support of Mirage Rock, including a run with Willie Nelson on the 2012 Railroad Revival Tour.

Gotye is the stage name for Wouter "Wally" De Backer, an instrumentalist and singer-songwriter recognized around the world for his 2012 breakout hit "Somebody That I Used To Know," featuring Kimbra, which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Gotye was born in Belgium and raised in Melbourne, Australia, and began making music as a teen. In 2003, Gotye released his debut album, Boardface, followed two years later by Like Drawing Blood, which featured the hit "Learnalilgivinanlovin." Making Mirrors, Gotye's latest release, reached #6 on the Billboard 200, and his recent work has won three APRA Awards, including 2012's Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year Awards, and six ARIA Awards, including Best Male Artist and Single of the Year. Currently, Gotye is currently on tour in North America.

Band of Horses' LIVE ON LETTERMAN Monday, Sept. 17 webcast will precede their appearance on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN airing Thursday, Sept. 20 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, while Gotye's LIVE ON LETTERMAN webcast will precede his appearance on the broadcast that same evening, Monday, Sept. 24 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT).
