HBO's GAME OF THRONES Is Most Pirated TV Show of 2012

According to TorrentFreak.com, HBO's GAME OF THRONES was the most pirated TV shows of the year. Other series on the list included Dexter, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Homeland, House, Fringe and Revolution. The report reveals that the majority of all TV show piracy, more than 80 percent occurs outside the United States.

Based on the novels of George R.R. Martin, the third season of HBO's GAME OF THRONES is said to adapt events from "A Storm of Swords" and will include quite a few new and returning characters. The series will return on March 31, 2013.

The cast of season two included Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, Michelle Fairley, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Iain Glen, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Sophie Turner, Jack Gleeson and Alfie Allen.

The series is executive produced by DAVID BENIOFF, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger with co-executive producers George R.R. Martin, Vanessa Taylor, Alan Taylor, Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and Bernadette Caulfield producing.
