IN FOCUS WITH MARTIN SHEEN Explores Ways to Create New Underwater Habitats

The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen have announced an upcoming report on how oil platforms can actually be part of a robust underwater ecosystem.

States that have oil rigs off their coasts are also reaping financial benefits from the programs by splitting the savings from decommissioned oil rigs that are not disassembled with the oil companies. The program is helping to build more diverse fish populations that can be a food source for humans in the future.
