Jack Davenport Joins ITV's BREATHLESS Series

According to Deadline.com, SMASH star Jack Davenport has joined ITV's 6-part 'Breathless' drama series. The show is about 'a group of doctors and nurses in a gynecology ward at a period when Britain was on the brink of the 60s revolution.' Davenport will play Otto Powell- 'a brilliant and charismatic surgeon who believes he can make a difference to women's lives,' as described by Deadline.

Davenport's film credits include: The Talented Mr. Ripley, Coupling, and Ultraviolet, as well as the box office SMASH Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and its sequels, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. He currently stars as 'Derek Wills' on NBC's SMASH.
