John Schneider Joins Tyler Perry's THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS on OWN

According to Deadline.com, John Schneider (The Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville) has joined Tyler Perry's OWN drama series "The Haves And The Have Nots".

OWN's first scripted series directed and produced by Perry, "The Haves and the Have Nots" is a one-hour drama series following the dynamics of the affluent Cryer family and the impoverished family of Hanna, their housekeeper, and the obstacles and secrets that exist within both families. The series is produced by Tyler Perry Studios.

Schneider has appeared on Broadway in Grand Hotel and Chicago, as well as Pittsburgh CLO's 42nd Street in 2006, and the national tour of the musical The Civil War. Schneider is also an accomplished country singer.
