The Jonas Brothers revealed to "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" today that their next upcoming single,"Pom Poms" will be available this Spring. The trio also confrimed that they shot a video for the new track over the weekend in New Orleans. The video will feature cheerleading squads from the Saints and Hornets as well as the marching band from Southern University.The Jonas Brothers formed in 2005, and gained popularity from their show on the Disney Channel. The three brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick hail from New Jersey. In 2008 they starred in the Disney Channel Original Movies Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
The band has released four albums: It's About Time, Jonas Brothers, A Little Bit Longer, and Lines, Vines and Trying Times, with an upcoming fifth studio album due for release in 2013.In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards. As of May 2009, before the release of Lines, Vines and Trying Times, they have sold over eight million albums worldwide.
