Kathy Griffin Headlines TV Guide's Coverage of William & Kate's Royal Wedding

In celebration of the Royal Wedding between His Royal Highness Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton, TV Guide Network honors the historical event by offering wedding-themed programming to viewers. Comedian Kathy Griffin will host "Kathy Griffin's Insightful and Hilarious Take on the Royal Wedding," a one hour special that will take a light-hearted, humorous look at the ultra-formal nuptials premiering on Friday, April 29 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Griffin says, "I'm thrilled at the opportunity to take TV Guide Network to a level of high class...or down to the gutter; I haven't decided which. Either way, as a longtime royal watcher -- and let's be honest, I'm referring to Prince Harry's adorable arse -- I'm eminently qualified to cover the wedding of the year, and not just because I once saw Helen Mirren at In-N-Out Burger. Carly visits Kate's hometown that has been thrust into the headlines, speaks to her childhood friends and finds out what etiquette Kate had to learn before becoming a princess. Plus, she will reveal all of the important locations that will be center stage on the big day - from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace. Carly will also speak with Princess Diana's wedding dressmaker to show how much work goes into creating a dress that makes history.
