Kerry Butler To Guest Star On 'Rescue Me' On 8/17?

According to her twitter, Kerry Butler might be guest starring in the August 17th episode of FX's Rescue Me.

Kerry Butler received rave reviews, acclaim and a Tony Nomination for her current role as the lead of Clio/Kira in the hit Broadway musical Xanadu. This runaway hit has been acclaimed by both fans and critics who have all touted her performance as sensational. Kerry has worked Off Broadway and regionally in Bat Boy: The Musical, The Opposite of Sex at the Williamstown Theater Festival, Miracle Brothers at the Vineyard Theater, The "I" Word at the Ensemble Studio Theater, The Folsom Head at the Currican Theater, Prodigal at the York Theater and numerous readings and workshops of new musicals. Kerry's recordings include her debut solo album, "Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust" along with Xanadu, Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors, Bat Boy: The Musical, Prodigal, and numerous demo cds. A devoted mother and humanitarian, Kerry is a member of ACS Children's Services "Family Preservation Program" where she works with families teaching them life skills to keep the family unit intact. She supports the fight to end the genocide in Darfur, and supports the necessary environmental change to breathe cleaner air and have fresh drinking water around the world.

Rescue Me, the critically acclaimed series from Denis Leary and Peter Tolan, is currently in production of its final two seasons of the series. The sixth season, which returned on June 29, features 10 episodes. Rescue Me is slated to close out its remarkable run with nine episodes for the series' seventh and final season in the summer of 2011. The final two seasons will deal with Tommy Gavin's (Denis Leary) recognition of how deeply he is in need of rescue and how time is running out on his last chances for redemption. Rescue Me stars Denis Leary, Adam Ferrara, Michael Lombardi, Steven Pasquale, Andrea Roth, John Scurti, Daniel Sunjata and Callie Thorne. The series was created by Leary and Peter Tolan, who along with Jim Serpico serve as executive producers. The show is produced by Apostle, The Cloudland Company and DreamWorks Television in association with Sony Pictures Television.
