The LA Times reports that Kristin Chenoweth is set to appear November 5 at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa. The Tony-winning actress will follow that performance with concerts in Sacramento on November 7 and Fresno on November 9. The concerts will mark the longest public performances that she has given since being injured on the set of CBS's 'The Good Wife' this summer. Revealed the actress, "I have never been so nervous in my life."

Chenoweth was struck by a piece of lighting equipment while shooting the CBS drama series back in July. She was left with a 5-inch skull fracture, a broken nose, three cracked teeth, torn neck muscles and several cracked ribs. "It was a life-changing event," she says of the accident which knocked the petite actress to the sidewalk.

As a result of her injuries, the 44 year old entertainer was forced to pull out of her multi-episode story arc on "The Good Wife" as well as cancel two films and an upcoming  performance at London's Royal Albert Hall.

"I went from 200 miles per hour to zero. I've had to reevaluate my life, to be honest," Chenoweth says. "For a while it was why me, why me, why me?" she says. Thankfully, the actress has been able to reach a healthier state of mind since then. Fans were thrilled to see her make recent appearances on the talk show circuit, including guest spots on Anderson Live and Live with Kelly and Michael. She will soon co-host the American Country Awards on FOX alongside Trace Atkins

Chenoweth won a Tony Award for her role as Sally Brown in the Broadway musical You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She is also celebrated for originating the role of Glinda in Wicked, which also earned her a Tony Award nomination. In 2010, she appeared as Fran Kubelik in Promises, Promises alongside Sean Hayes.

The actress won an Emmy Award for her performance as Olive Snook in the television dramedy Pushing Daisies. Chenoweth is also known on TV for playing Annabeth Schott in The West Wing, and most recently as April Rhodes in GLEE, a role for which she was Emmy-nominated in 2010 and 2011. She also had her own TV series, Kristin. Her film credits include Bewitched, The Pink Panther, Running With Scissors, Stranger Than Fiction, Four Christmases, RV and the upcoming films Ed Zwick's Family Weekend and Outrun.

The country pop album Some Lessons Learned was Chenoweth's fourth album on Sony. Her debut album Let Yourself Go (2001) centered on show and movie musical classics including the title track, from the 1936 Fred Astaire film Follow the Fleet. It was followed in 2005 by As I Am, an album of Christian music, and in 2008, a holiday album A Lovely Way To Spend Christmas. Chenoweth documented her life in her 2009 memoir A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, And Faith In Stages. She recently starred in ABC's  drama series GCB as Carlene Cockburn.
