Actress Liz Holtan has joined the cast of the upcoming CBS comedy pilot FRIEND ME. Holtan joins previously announced cast members Chris Mintz-Plasse and Nicholas Braun. The project is scripted by Alan Kirschenbaum and Ajay Sahgal.
FRIEND ME will follow the story of twenty-something best friends, Evan (Mintz-Plasse) and Rob (Braun), who move to Los Angeles from their hometown of Bloomington, Indiana to start new lives working at Groupon.
Holtan (The Fantasticks, Wanda's World) repped by Soffer/Namoff Entertainment and Harden Curtis Associates in New York, recently played "Ellen", the conservative pundit in the FX comedy "Louie" and has a supporting role in the upcoming features "He's Way More Famous Than You" directed by Michael Urie, "Ex-Girlfriends", "Backwards" opposite James Van Der Beek, and "Forbidden Love" alongside Andrew McCarthy.
