Liza Minnelli Talks Upcoming SMASH Guest Appearance and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

Liza Minnelli recently sat down with Access Hollywood to talk about her upcoming appearance on NBC's Smash season 2 and her return to Arrested Development on Netflix.

"It's fun because I admire all of the people," Minnelli said about Smash. "And the directors are wonderful, and all the stars in this are just great, aren't they? I have great fun watching it. I'm a fan of the show."

The episode featuring Minnelli is set to air in late spring 2013. Smash returns on Feb. 5 on NBC.

Minnelli also told Access that Arrested Development has wrapped shooting for its fourth season on Netflix. The actor plays 'Lucille Ostero', Buster's girlfriend and Lucille Bluth's socialite competition.

An acclaimed Boadway veteran, the actress was last seen onstage in Liza's at The Palace, for which she won a Tony Award. She has also graced the Broadway stage in Minnelli on Minnelli, Victor/Victoria, The Rink, The Act, Chicago, Jule's Friends at the Palace, Liza, Flora, the Red Menace and more. Her Off-Broadway shows include Best Foot Forward.

Minnelli's film credits include The Sterile Cuckoo, Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon, the film version of the musical Cabaret, for which she won an Academy Award, Arthur, Lucky Lady, A Matter of Time, New York, New York, The OH in Ohio and more. In total, Minnelli has won four Tony Awards, an Oscar, an Emmy and two Golden Globes.
