For the week of Monday, January 10th, Lora Cain will be the first female guest announcer on Wheel of Fortune® - or any game show for that matter.

"It's been one of the only places on TV where you never hear a woman and I'm very grateful to Executive Producer Harry Friedman for giving me the chance to be heard" said Cain. Cain is auditioning for the job that was held by the legendary Charlie O'Donnell for 28 years until his passing in 2010. She will also be introducing Pat Sajak and VAnna White and the prize packages the week of February 14th and select dates in March and April.

"I'm hoping a lot of people will like what they hear and write in to say they think a female announcer on Wheel of Fortune® is great" commented Cain. (http://www.WheelofFortune.com/feedback)

She has been heard on TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live and Platinum Weddings, films and video games such as Stranger Than Fiction and Fallout:New Vegas, commercials for Subaru and McDonalds, documentaries for HGTV and Disney, news promos for CNN and MSNBC and as a radio and television personality. A self help author and communications expert, Cain has been seen on such shows as The View and Rachael Ray.
