Lynch, Paquin, Cusack et al. Set as Guests for 'Phineas and Ferb'

Stage veterans Joan Cusack, Jane Lynch and Anna Paquin are all set to provide guest voices for the upcoming season of Disney Channel's animated series "Phineas and Ferb," according to Variety. The show follows the lives of stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb, who tackle new schemes and adventures each episode.

Among other guest voices for the upcoming season are Michael Douglas, Tina Fey, Michael J. Fox and Jamie Oliver.

Douglas will guest with his son Dylan, for an episode which will take place in a haunted house. Pacquin and Fox's roles will play off of their "True Blood" and "Teen Wolf" characters. Lynch will play the mother of the boy whom Phineas and Ferbs' sister is dating.

The series' regular cast features Vincent Martella, Thomas Sangster, Ashley Tisdale, Mitchel Musso, Caroline Rhea, Richard O'Brien, Dee Bradley Baker, Alyson Stoner and co-creators of the show Jeff "Swampy" March and Dan Povenmire.

An award-winning Chicago-based actress, Joan Cusack has twice been nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her roles in Working Girl and In & Out. She is a three-time winner of the American Comedy Award as Funniest Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture and has appeared in numerous films, including Sixteen Candles, Say Anything?, Class, High Fidelity, Cradle Will Rock and Grosse Pointe Blank. Some of her other feature film credits include Broadcast News, Men Don't Leave, My Blue Heaven, Friends With Money and, most recently, she reprised her role as the voice of Jessie in Toy Story 3. Cusack also was a cast member of Saturday Night Live.

Recent Golden Globe & Emmy winner and GLEE star Jane Lynch is currently working on memoir titled "Happy Accidents" which will be released in September 2011. Lynch's theater credits include the Off-Broadway production of LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE as well as THE REAL LIVE BRADY BRUNCH AND THE REAL LIVE GAME SHOW.

Paquin won a Theatre World for THE GLORY OF LIVING and a Drama desk Award for THE DISTANCE FROM HER. Other stage credits include ROULETTE and AFTER ASHLEY.

On screen, Paquin won an Oscar for "The Piano." Other credits include "Amistad," "The Member of the Wedding," "X-Mean," and "The Squid and the Whale." Her latest project, "The Romantics," will be released next month and also stars Katie Holmes. On the HBO series "True Blood," Paquin plays mortal Sookie Stackhouse.
