THE INBETWEENERS, MTV
MTV has officially pulled the plug on its American adaptation of the hit UK series, THE INBETWEENERS, after just one season, Variety has learned.
The decision to cancel the show came after David Janollari left the network and Susanne Daniels took over as president.
THE INBETWEENERS followed a group of high school boys attempting to determine where they fit into the social spectrum. It never caught on the in the ratings or gained much of a following, and inconjunction with Daniels' decision to do a bit of overhaul with programming, the decision seems to be justified.
The show's first season premiered on Aug. 20 and ran for 12 episodes.
