Mary Elizabeth Ellis to Co-Star with Will Arnett in Upcoming CBS Pilot

'The Waitress' from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is finally moving on from her barista position.

According to Deadline, Mary Elizabeth Ellis is set to co-star in Greg Garcia's upcoming CBS pilot opposite Will Arnett. Garcia is also set to executive produce the project.

The multi-camera comedy follows a recently divorced man, Jack (Arnett), "whose life gets more complicated when his parents have marital problems of their own." Margo Martindale, as previously reported, has signed on to play Jack's mother, who moves in with him. Their father moves in with Jack's sister, Debbie (Ellis), and her family.

Ellis has previously appeared in a recurring role on Fox's NEW GIRL. The actress is best known for her role on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and PERFECT COUPLES. She has most recently been seen in a guest-starring role on ABC's comedy series HAPPY ENDINGS.
