Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie to Host GOLDEN GLOBE ARRIVAL SPECIAL on NBC, 1/13

NBC will air the GOLDEN GLOBES ARRIVAL SPECIAL" (4-5 p.m. PT, 7-8 p.m. ET), produced by Dick Clark productions, featuring interviews just prior to "The 70th AnnuAl Golden Globe (R) Awards" on Sunday, January 13 (5-8 p.m. PT; 8-11 p.m. ET). Dick Clark Productions' Allen Shapiro, Orly Adelson and Barry Adelman will serve as executive producers of the 'Golden Globe Arrivals Special.'

Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales (NBC's "Today" show) will host the "Golden Globe Arrivals Special." The show will highlight one of Hollywood's most famed events, a night celebrating achievement in film and television with the brightest stars in the industry.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Dick Clark productions and NBC made the announcements today.

Lauer has been co-anchor of NBC News' "Today" since January 6, 1997. He joined "Today" in January 1994 as the show's news anchor. From September 1992 to September 1996, Lauer was at WNBC in New York City where he served as a co-anchor of the early morning newscast "Today in New York" and as a co-anchor of the early evening newscast "News Channel 4/Live at Five."

Guthrie is the co-anchor of NBC News' "Today." She also serves as NBC News Chief Legal Correspondent. Guthrie joined "Today" as co-host of the third hour and chief legal correspondent in June 2011. Prior to joining "Today," Guthrie served as NBC News White House Correspondent from December 2008 to June 2011 where she contributed to all NBC News properties, including "NBC Nightly News with BrIan Williams," "Today" and MSNBC.

Roker has been the weather and feature anchor on NBC News' "Today" since January 1996. Since July 2009 he has been co-host of the morning show "Wake Up with Al" on the Weather Channel. Until January of 2000, Roker also served as the weekday weather forecaster for News Channel 4's early evening newscast Live at 5 on WNBC-TV, NBC's flagship owned and operated station in New York City.

Morales is the news anchor of NBC News' "Today" and the co-host of the third hour, a position she has held since March 2006. She also serves as a correspondent on NBC's "Rock Center with BrIan Williams." Prior to her role as news anchor, Morales served as "Today" national correspondent from February 2006 to June 2011.

This year's Golden Globe broadcast is hosted by Tina Fey (NBC's "30 Rock") and Amy Poehler (NBC's "Parks and Recreation") and will be broadcast live coast-to-coast from 5-8 p.m. (PT) and 8-11 p.m. (ET) from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

"The 70th AnnuAl Golden Globe Awards" will be seen in more than 192 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. The special will be produced by Dick Clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Dr. Aida Takla-O'Reilly is president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Allen Shapiro, CEO of Dick Clark productions, Orly Adelson, president of Dick Clark productions and Barry Adelman, EVP of Television at Dick Clark productions will executive-produce the special. Bob Bardo is the executive in charge of production.
