Meredith Jane Momoda Named NBCUniversal's VP of Branded Entertainment

Meredith Jane Momoda has been named Vice President, Branded Entertainment, NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution, it was announced today by Linda Finnell, SVP Programming and Development, NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution to whom Momoda will report.

In Momoda's new role, she will be responsible for securing product integration in all of NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution first-run shows including "StEve Harvey" and "Access Hollywood." In addition, Momoda will drive the development of new processes and strategy to improve the execution of integration projects. She will also lead cross-brand initiatives while working with production teams to develop and execute plans for individual clients.

"Meredith has more than 20 years of executive level experience in branded entertainment; most recently at OWN, in addition to TLC, YAHOO! and ABC Television." said Finnell. "I am truly looking forward to having her join our team and tapping into her expertise."

Momoda worked most recently at OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, where she served as Vice President of Integrated Marketing, Broadcast & Digital since October 2008. While at OWN, Momoda developed customized on-air and online marketing programs that resulted in several strategic launch partnerships with companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Target, Walmart, General Motors, Chase, Nissan and Toyota.

Prior to OWN, Momoda spent 10 years with The Walt Disney Company. Her first five years were as Vice President of Promotions for Buena Vista, working with first-run syndication product and the off-net launch of shows including "Home Improvement." She then joined ABC Television from 2000 to 2005 serving as Vice President of Integrated Marketing and Promotions. In her tenure, she served as the primary liaison between the network, producers, and production companies to develop and execute product integration. She was responsible for developing the first-ever, gold-standard integrations. Notable partnerships included Nokia and "Alias" as well as Sears and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

In Momoda's career, she has also served as the head of Integrated Marketing for TLC and the Executive Director of Ad Solutions at Yahoo! She began her career as the Manager of Brand Marketing and New Products at the Taco Bell Corporation with PepsisCo.

Momoda holds an MBA in marketing from the University of California, Los Angeles and a BA in chemistry from Northwestern University.
