Michael Buble to Host CTV's Broadcast of THE 2013 JUNO AWARDS, 4/21

In an exclusive on-air message during last night's Super Bowl XLVII broadcast, it was revealed that international superstar Michael Buble will host THE 2013 JUNO AWARDS on CTV on Sunday, April 21 from Regina's Brandt Centre.

In the premiere of the 30-second promo, Bubl popped in-between Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger to deliver the message - both to the musical power couple and all Canadians -that he plans to hit all the right notes as host of this year's JUNO AWARDS broadcast. The multi-JUNO and GRAMMY Award-winning artist takes charge of Canada's Music Awards at an exciting time in his career. Bubl will soon be announcing details on the release of his forthcoming fifth studio album and will perform the album's first single during the JUNO AWARDS broadcast. In June, Michael will headline an incredible 10-night run at London's O2 Arena.

Airing Sunday, April 21 from the Brandt Centre in Regina, tickets for THE 2013 JUNO AWARDS Go On sale on Friday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. CST. A four-time JUNO Award performer and eleven-time JUNO Award winner, Bubl's trademark Style has taken the world by storm since he first burst onto the music scene. Born in Burnaby, B.C., Bubl had dreamt of being a musician since he was just two-years-old. His self-titled, debut album, released in 2003, featured classic standards, including "Fever" and "The Way You Look Tonight". The album launched Bubl into the limelight, seeing him win New Artist of the Year at the 2004 JUNO Awards. Bubl's second studio album, It's Time, released The Following year, again included classic standards, and as well included the original track "Home" which hit the top of the pop radio charts. The album won four JUNO Awards and, that same year, Bubl received his first two GRAMMY Award nominations. With the success of his third and fourth albums, Call Me Irresponsible and Crazy Love, he continued his meteoric rise to international acclaim, with appearances on OPRAH, THE X FACTOR, and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, as well as taking part in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games torch relay in Vancouver before the opening ceremony.
