NBC Picks Up Pilot for Legal Drama I AM VICTOR

NBC is putting faith in a new litigator.

The network has officially picked up a new legal drama pilot, entitled I AM VICTOR. The project comes from Katie Jacobs, the former executive producer for HOUSE, and the hit Norwegian novelist Jo Nesbo.

Marc Goffman, writer for the THE WEST WING, has penned the script, which is based upon Nesbo's novel, according to Deadline. It follows divorce attorney Victor Port, who is described as "House as a divorce attorney," with an off-kilter view of relationships and marriage.

Nesbo is best known for his book series centered on detective Harry Hole. They include THE SNOWMAN, THE DEVIL's STAR, and NEMESIS.
