NBC Wins Third Consecutive Week in Total Viewers

NBC also won its third week in a row in total viewers and has now won three straight in-season weeks in total viewers with no Olympic help for the first time since May 2002. Additionally, NBC led the week in adults 25-54, 18-34 and most other key demos.

Season to date, NBC is up 24% in 18-49, having moved from a tie for #3 at this point last year to #1 this year, and up 18% in total viewers.

It's the first time in nine years (since 2003) that NBC has been #1 outright at this point in the season.

NBC's 3.1 season average is its highest rating at this point in the season in five years (since 2007).

NBC's lead of 0.4 of a rating point so far this season (3.1 vs. 2.7 for #2 CBS) is the biggest for any network at this point in the season in nine years (since NBC led by 0.4 of a point at this time during the 2003-04 season).
