NBC to Take Action Against Donald Trump if He “Says or Does Things that Cross the Line'

According to Deadline.com, NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt had some choice words for the ever-outspoken APPRENTICE star Donald Trump. Though the infamous real estate mogul has attempted to create controversy through Twitter spats with Rosie O'Donnell and questioning President Obama's place of birth, the network has stuck by him.

"We live in this country where you can say anything you want as long as you are not harming other people," Greenblatt said during the NBC TCA, the site reports. "He has his political belief system but I really don't think what he's doing in his personal life is going to corrupt what he's doing on the show."

But Greenblatt goes on: "if he becomes somehow hurtful and says or does things that cross a line, we would figure out what to do with that."

NBC's head of reality programming, Paul Telegdy, also commented: "It just comes with the Donald Trump territory, he keeps a lot of publicists very very busy."

And though some enjoy Trump's tirades, others do not, and have whether the network should ultimately keep him around, virtually unreprimanded.

"We talked him out of running for president, Greenblatt said. "Wasn't' that good enough?"
